i remember the first person who shared the same interests with me in this ermm, rare genre of singing was my music teacher, Ms. Renee.. and she persuaded me to sing Vincent by Josh Groban during the skool's open day.. haha.. i think i did okay la on that day.. ahha.. maybe went a note off during the high ending part.. *bluek*
thinking back on that day.. i remember myself being like.. UBER nervous man.. haha.. i was so nervous i wanted to cancel the thing like 10 mins before time.. but i went with it... because my music teacher went and forced me la.. and she had to go in front of the audience and go fabricate my past to them.. and i quote: "Up next, we have one of the music club's student, Eric Wong, waiting to present to you a song called Vincent sung by Josh Groban. Now ladies and gentlemen, Eric came to this school when he was in Standard 1 and if you ask many of his teachers he was a very very shy boy.. and was very terrified to go on stage to perform. You're up.." as if i wasn't nervous enough, she HAD to go tell them that i'm now confident.. hahaha.. make me more pressure.. hahaha.. but it was all in good fun la.. hahaha..
anyways.. these few weeks, my trance lurrving self has been MIA la.. (Missing In Action) somehow went for a vacation somewhere without asking for leave.. hahahahaha.. and in it's absence, my emo and meaningful song lurrving side returned..
somehow, i feel like a special bond towards these songs.. like how i relate them to many of my past experiences.. it's like, when i hear EVERY single one of these songs i can think back to a certain period or a certain happening in my life.. be it in my relationships, or my friend's relationships, something wrong that i did..

i don't know why.. it's like i feel so lazy to do anything these couple of weeks.. out of the 3 weeks, i have 9 days of college, and i think i only went for 4 days.. skipped the rest.. can you believe that? i can't really believe how i've transformed from this ermm.. kinda good boy to this kaki-ponteng ass.. well, i still manage to maintain my results la.. hehehe..
i guess, it's really true that i can't discipline myself to refrain from all the distractions subang has to offer.. guess it's nottingham, semenyih then.. hehee..--------------------------------warning: all about pool today.
today i entered my first ever pool competition hosted by The Rack Cafe.. hahaha.. well, i expected to be out in the first round.. but then.. haha.. i was lucky my form was not bad today.. could place the cueball well, could pot the balls well, combo shots were not bad.. the only thing was my banks were not as good..first round was a guy named ho from UTS.. i asked him how long has he been playing pool and he replied that he started snooker since form 4.. and i thought to myself.. that pretty much says everything cuz snooker is all about accuracy since the tables are HUMUNGOUS.. not to mention the small balls and holes.. hmmm.. kla.. time to shake hands and concede la.. :D.. then i remembered what bryan said when i was playing snooker with him.. he said that you always have to think positively.. and things will MOST PROBABLY come your way.. and so i took his word and thought positively..and the first rack was pure shit.. hahah.. i missed so many long range shots cuz i was trying to spin the cueball to get back placing for the next object ball.. (for those not pool-literate, placing and potting the balls are the most important things in pool. or snooker. :D) so he won the first rack, conclusively.. making some exquisite shots, expected by a snooker player.. i kept that positive thought in my mind.. and my pool got better.. the final score? 5-3. i won! hahahah.. was damn happy la.. past my expectations liao.. so okay la.. next opponent was not easy man.. arrghh.. have to get bernard.. hahaha.. bernard is one of billy's friend who plays pool also la.. got his gear and all also.. expensive cue (sticks) and bag... plus the gloves.. hahaaa.. (btw, i was using the house cue, or the ermm.. provided cue la.. no money buy my own.. whahhaa..)well, long story short.. i lost. :( 5-3 also. hahah.. i guess i was intimidated by him la.. his shot placing was exquisite.. but his long shots weren't the best.. and i lost because i was kinda nervous la.. i guess i was the youngest there btw.. haha.. (btw, whoever won that match was about to face the no.8 pool player in malaysia.. so both ways was fucked.. hahah. for the record, bernard lost 5-3 to the m'sia fella also..)then i found out that the losers of each round had a second chance to play.. i was happy.. hahaha.. then my opponent, andy came up to me, shook my hand, and we played.. first impressions, he was GOOD! i was like ham-kau-7 lo.. hahaha.. lose again la.. then played.. and he won the first rack.. and i got even more scared.. (now thinkin of it.. WHY THE FUCK WAS I SCARED!! I'M THE YOUNG ONE.. I SHD BE THE UNDERDOG.. THEY SHD BE SCARED OF LOSING TO A YOUNGER OPPONENT!!) hahaha.. but then i got a break.. he missed the 2 ball.. and like magic, i found my form and "sau cue" as the chinese call it.. haha.. i got back my confidence.. then i continued to notice his style of play.. and i found out he's like average in everything.. placing, shotmaking, stroking.. so i grew in confidence also la.. then on the 6 ball, i made a mistake.. i gave myself sight on the 6 ball, but no shot whatsoever cuz the 9-ball was practically sticking to it.. so the only choice i had was to try and get the right angle and try the combo shot.. (in pool, if you get the 9-ball potted in a combo shot, you win the rack straight away) so i did, and i GOT IT! hahaa.. it was a fucking hard shot.. believe me.. i really stood there looking at the angles for like 4 minutes.. hahahaa...then my form began to fade away.. and i missed like 70% of my shots.. and in the end, i lost 5-3 again.. arrrgghh!! and i had the chance to win it.. knnccb!! i had like 2 racks where i missed the 9-ball and he took the rack for free.. then the last rack, he kai-ed the 9 ball.. haihzzz...oh well, it was all good fun in the end.. would join again in the future.. haha.. and got like LOTSA sui yees there man.. hahahaha.. next time get free pool.. :D

(not that i'm gay or anything!!!!) and he was quite built.. ermm.. but wearing like the fisherman's cap.. like where the shade part goes all round the cap?? yeah.. well, he looked mix la.. so i took another glance from a different angle.. and lo and behold.
